Training Policy

Attending a Course

Course participants are asked to wear "casual business" attire to class (no sandals, shorts, or T-shirts.) If you own a pager or cellular phone, please make sure that it is turned "off" while class is in session.

Incoming messages for participants are delivered to students during breaks. Participants are asked not to interrupt class sessions to make or receive phone calls, except in emergency situations.

100% attendance is required for successful course completion. Partial credit for course work will not be given. If a student fails to show up for class or fails to complete the entire class, the full tuition, if applicable, is still charged.

You must be a registered participant in order to attend a class. Walk-ins are not permitted.

Classes are offered for Software House and American Dynamics business partners and their customers only. Select Dealer certification courses may be attended by end-users but only authorized business partners will receive Certification numbers upon completion. End-users will be provided a certificate of completion but will not be able to access "Certification" entitlements.

Canceling a Course

To cancel registration for courses, contact the Training Coordinator and request a cancellation.

Registrants must cancel their training enrollment at least 3 business days (72 hours) before the scheduled course start date. If you do not cancel your enrollment within that time frame, no refund, if applicable, will be given.

A qualified replacement may be substituted for any registered participant. In this case, no charges will be incurred. For substitution requests, contact the Training Coordinator at least 3 business days (72 hours) before the scheduled course start date.

Software House and American Dynamics Training Group may cancel courses when necessary. If a course is canceled, we make every effort to notify students within a week prior to the scheduled start date.

Travel Policy

Course participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and hotel accommodations, and should plan travel time to accommodate class hours. Please remember to verify that you are registered for a course before you make travel plans. This is achieved by either receiving a confirmation letter by fax or mail and/or contacting the Training Coordinator.

Course Pre-work

Some courses require completion of pre-work prior to the start of the scheduled training. All pre-work assignments will be sent to you along with your confirmation letter. After you complete a pre-work assignment, fax or mail it to the Training Coordinator. If your pre-work assignment is not completed and received by the Training Coordinator by the due date, your ability to participate in the class may be hindered.

Course Completion

Graduation certificates for successful course completion will be given to you at the end of your class or sent to you by mail. If you do not receive your certificate within 10 working days of your class end date, contact the Training Coordinator.

Regional Courses

All courses are available for regional implementation in addition to the scheduled dates and locations listed in the catalog. If you find yourself with a need for training that does not fit our published schedule, please call the Training Coordinator to request information on regional delivery of listed and customized programs.
